Just checking in really, I don’t have a lot to say at the moment.

I went for another woodland walk this week, as planned. I’ve been doing lots of creative stuff, really getting into the zone with all that. I’m also doing plenty of reading and relaxing and generally keeping life simple at the moment.

I’ve had a couple of mild ‘romancing the drink’ thoughts over the last week but they haven’t felt like a real or serious threat to my sobriety. Sitting out in the lovely spring sun was probably what stirred this up.

Unfortunately, I think I might be getting a cold. The back of my nose/throat feels a bit sore 😦 Hopefully it’s just a bit of hayfever.

    Walks in the woods are such a powerful and relaxing past time, sounds like you’re in a lovely area.
    9 weeks is a great accomplishment – way to go!

    Yea, that voice…I call mine Jack comes around at the weirdest times. Just when I think I’ve got this thing sussed he’s back whispering to me. I had a massive craving yesterday. I just rode it out. I still have to get to my walk, been to busy to even go to loo;( xxx

      I’m glad you got through your craving ok. That’s a very civilised name for your whispering voice, If I were to name mine my first thought is something offensive like ‘fuckwit’. Thinking about it though, it’s essentially a part of me so something a bit more compassionate might be appropriate. I hope you get some not so busy time over the weekend 🙂 x

        Jack as in ‘Jack Daniels’ with a face and manerism like Jack Nicholson about sums up my alcohol voice:) I like ‘Fuckwit’ for a name – has a nice ring to it:)

        Ha yes, I can see how that might be tricky to resist a bad boy voice like that, yours sounds almost sexy, which just sounds wrong even as I type it 😀

        I know…I should rethink it. It is too sexy. It should be someone that’s not sexy at all like Donald Trump. The new name is Donald and ‘he has the best words’ like ‘tremendous’ and ‘terrific’…that should put me right off.;)

        Yes! He did! I have no words to describe how that meets me… “I have the best words” Bwaahahahaa! Did I tell you my dad is a fireman?
